This development is presented by Untie My Tongue Theatre in association with Emma Ruse Productions. Made with support from An Tobar & Mull Theatre and the National Theatre of Scotland. In May 2022 we produced our second run of UNTIED - a new writers' scratch night. Untied took place at Harmonium in Edinburgh, and saw five new extracts performed in front of a sold out audience who gave written feedback to each piece.
Us at Untie My Tongue are hugely grateful for the support given on the night, and we can't wait to share more of what we've got in the works for the rest of the year! |

WOODED."Am I chasing her? Does she know? Has she always known?"Who do you stand by, when nothing else matters?
Following four separate narratives, WOODED takes us into the quiet woods by night. Partly unaware of each others' presence, seven people bring their own agenda in between the trees, and are faced with some of the hardest decisions they'll ever have to make. Who can you trust when you can't trust yourself? Are people really worthy of a second chance? And when is it time to finally let go? In this one act play, Untie My Tongue explores the depth of a variety of female relationships, and provides an atmospheric experience using storytelling and movement alongside of an original co-written script. WOODED was written during spring 2020, developed at Summerhall as part of their Space Opportunities 2020. DATE 27th & 28th of May TIME 19.30 LOCATION Assembly Roxy, Edinburgh |
