"Am I chasing her? Does she know? Has she always known?"
Who do you stand by, when nothing else matters?
Following four separate narratives, WOODED takes us into the quiet woods by night. Partly unaware of each others' presence, seven people bring their own agenda in between the trees, and are faced with some of the hardest decisions they'll ever have to make. Who can you trust when you can't trust yourself? Are people really worthy of a second chance? And when is it time to finally let go?
In this one act play, Untie My Tongue explores the depth of a variety of female relationships, and provides an atmospheric experience using storytelling and movement alongside of an original co-written script.
WOODED was written during spring 2020, developed at Summerhall as part of their Space Opportunities 2020.

UNTIED. A new writer's scratch night.
March saw the opening of UNTIED, an initiative by the collective for emerging makers to meet in person post-pandemic and share early draft work. Hosted at the Rose Theatre Café, the scratch contained a line-up of eight extracts of early draft plays submitted by eight different emerging playwrights, performed by an ensemble of emerging performers. Each audience member was then given the opportunity to provide verbal feedback to the playwrights with constructive notes for continued development.
